In Leo and His Friends: The Sydney Adventure, students follow Leo the Leader, Penny the Planner, Sam the Spender, and Chloe the Creative as they travel from the United States all the way to Australia for the first time. From packing suitcases and flying across the Pacific to riding ferries through Sydney Harbour, the friends discover how planning, teamwork, and curiosity turn a big trip into a real-world adventure

Along the way, students join the team as they:

• Learn how to travel using Opal transit cards, ferries, and trains

• Explore famous landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge

• Visit the Blue Mountains and see Australia’s unique wildlife

• Swim at Bondi and Manly Beach while learning about ocean and beach safety

Each character brings a special strength to the journey — Leo leads, Penny plans, Sam tracks spending, and Chloe captures the world through art — helping students see how different skills work together when facing new places and challenges.
